Individual Lessons

Individual driving lessons can be done in one hour, two hour or 90 minute sessions. We'll collect you from home free of charge for each driving lesson and we'll provide the car which is fully dual-controlled and fully insured for driving tuition purposes.

The lessons are individually priced at €33.00 per hour or if you get one of the courses below it works out cheaper.

EDT – Essential Driver Training *

This is a course of 12 driving lessons designed by the RSA that everyone (whose Learner Permit was issued on or after 4th April 2011) must complete before sitting their Driving Test. This requires some preparation before you start and some practice as you complete the lessons. This practice and preparation can be done with a ‘sponsor’ or with an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor). This course was priced at €360. Now get this for €295! That's the price of ten individual lessons, a 10% discount and two free driving lessons if you pay on your first lesson. You also get your Log Book included. This offer ends on 31st January 2012.

Beginners Course *

The beginners' course consists of ten hours of driving lessons. Until the end of January we'll throw in two extra lessons FREE. Don't worry - you don't need to do all ten hours at once. You choose the time and day for each lesson. You can also choose one hour, two hours or 90 minutes for each session. Think of it as doing a part time course at college except you can choose the time to best suit you for each driving lesson.

The beginners course is designed for someone who hasn't driven before (or has just limited experience) and would like to get comfortable being behind the wheel. When you finish this course you can see how you feel about your driving and decide how you want to proceed. This course won't get you to a driving test standard from beginner but it will allow you to learn how to use all the controls and get familiar with driving on the road.

As you progress we’ll help you perfect each of these manoeuvres through practice and mentoring. Every detail of driving is covered in a step by step systematic way and we only move onto a new topic when you feel good with the current one. We will also add in easy systems for parallel parking and other useful manoeuvres for everyday driving as we go.

This course is priced at €295.00 (that's 10% off and now we'll give you two extra lessons for free until 31st January only) if you pay on your first of the ten hours of hours.

Intermediate Course *

The intermediate course consists of six hours of driving lessons. You choose one hour, two hours or 90 minute sessions for each driving lesson.

This course would suit someone that can do some driving and would like to improve their standard. We begin by assessing your driving and then we cover the aspects listed above that require the most attention to improve your driving in a step by step manner.

The course is priced at €180 (that's 10% off) if you pay on the first of the six hours.

Pre-Test Course - Pass Your Driving Test

Use our fantastic pre-test course to give you the best possible chance of passing the Road Safety Authority Driving Test first time.

This is a course of four hours of driving lessons. It’s usually spread over two 2 hour sessions but can be done in any combination of one and two hour sessions to meet your needs. During these driving lessons we'll cover everything you need to know to pass the driving test, including -

1. The correct way to drive during the driving test,
2. The driving test routes,
3. Examples of the theory questions you'll be asked during your driving test, and
4. The vehicle checks you'll have to do at the start of the driving test.

You can take this course in your own car or you can use the DRIVE SCHOOL Ireland Training Vehicle. You can also arrange to use the DRIVE SCHOOL Ireland Training Vehicle for your driving test if you own car is not suitable for any reason.

The pricing for this course is as follows.

• €33 per hour
• €30 per hour in your own car
• €115 for four hours in your own car

If you prefer to just take individual driving lessons to reach the driving test standard, this can be arranged also.
